NYSALC held it’s 64th biennial Convention at the Rivers Resort Casino/Landing Hotel on October 5-7, 2021in Schenectady, New York….191 delegates representing 18 branches attended along with 16 NYSALC officers and Executive Board members. We were joined by National President Fred Rolando, National Director of Life Insurance Jim Yates, NBA Region 15 Larry Cirelli, NBA Region 11 Mark Camilli, Region 11 RAA’s Dave Kennedy and John Collins, Region 15 RAA’s Tom Matthews and Orlando Gonzalez, RWCA Doug Lawrence, RGA Mike Brim, Past National Vice President and Region 15 NBA George Mignosi, Retired NBA for Region11 Bill Cooke and Retired RAA for Region 11 John Walsh.

The early breakout training given by LPO Marc Ashmon was well attended and greatly appreciated…The afternoon breakout session facilitated by both NBAs and staff, was likewise well attended and informative..The combined meetings were necessitated by the restrictions imposed for safety under the Covid-19 pandemic guidelines…
The general session was concise and well executed….Br.3581st Vice President and LCCL Robert (Rabbit) Riley was awarded his 50 year gold card and pin by President Rolando… We passed 2 resolutions and 1 By-Law Amendment in session, and President Rolando spoke on legislative goals and a number of national actions affecting the membership, including the relationship with PMG De Joy….The nominations saw the entire block of Officers and Executive Board re-elected with minor changes..
Director of Life Insurance Jim Yates then presided over the installation of officers on Thursday morning..
