DC 2024
Our recent lobbying trip to DC was a well-orchestrated event. Our “ Meet & Greet” at Hamilton’s produced 3 Representatives ( Nick LaLota CD1, Nicole Malliotakis CD11, and Marc Molinaro CD19) and a few Legislative aides….Our annual meeting with both Senators at the Capitol is always a highlight, and this year didn’t disappoint ..Leader Schumer has cosponsored S.597, and supports our additional legislation. Senator Gillibrand will Sponsor the Companion Bill for HR 7629, the Protect Our Letter Carrier Act, and Senator Hawley will be the Republican Sponsor…LCCL meetings at various House settings were well organized and helped garner additional cosponsorships for our assorted legislation. Legislation briefing by Madeline Alvis, Frank McCarthy, and Jose Cebellos was informative , and the Rap Session chaired by President Renfroe was well received. Great job, Everyone!
